Nestled at 178, Jalan Melor in Kampar, Perak, this quaint cafe beckons with its inviting ambiance and a rich array of delightful beverages and hearty dishes that make it an ideal spot for friends and solo visitors alike.

At DUADUA, it’s not just about coffee; it’s about the experience. Picture yourself lounging on the porch, surrounded by lush greenery, where the soothing sounds of nature serve as the perfect backdrop for conversation and relaxation. Several patrons have praised the cafe as a haven where they're gently nudged to disconnect from their screens and truly enjoy the moment with those around them. As Daniel Tay eloquently puts it, “it’s not about the food, but about the atmosphere.”

Speaking of food, DUADUA offers a tantalizing selection that boasts a variety of cleverly crafted drinks and delectable treats. Sip on their refreshing kombucha or indulge in an ice latte that strikes the perfect balance between robust flavor and creamy texture. For those with a sweet tooth, don't miss their delightful cakes. A must-try is the pineapple cinnamon cake, which pairs the warm spice of cinnamon with the bright zest of pineapple, creating a harmonious blend that is both comforting and revitalizing. Another star on the dessert list is the passion fruit yogurt cake, a dessert that elegantly combines a hot and cold experience that will leave you guessing which is more enjoyable.

The atmosphere enhances your culinary adventure significantly. Former visitors have commented on how DUADUA's "cozy environment" makes it suitable for gatherings, be it with family or friends. You can bring along a good book or simply kick back and relax, particularly during the rainy season when the ambience is particularly enchanting. However, be prepared for a few pesky mosquitoes as dusk approaches, which is a small price to pay for such a tranquil respite in nature.

At DUADUA Coffee & Homestay, hospitality is paramount. The friendly proprietor creates a welcoming vibe that resonates with visitors like Ky Wong, who noted the attentive service and high-quality offerings, despite the cafe’s humble appearance. The café may not boast extensive parking but the reward of your visit will be the cherished memories made in a peaceful setting that encourages you to slow down and savor the moment.

In summary, if you find yourself wandering through Kampar, be sure to treat yourself to a relaxing outing at DUADUA Coffee & Homestay. It promises an embrace of warmth, nature, and community, leaving you rejuvenated and inspired long after your visit.

I love home cafes like these. You order a drink then sit down and chill in the porch. Great for small groups of friends to talk, especially those that are always on their mobile phones, because the data connection in this area is not so good, so you’re forced to put down your phones and be present for the people you came here with. For such places, it’s not about the food, but about the atmosphere and the company you’re with. This place is also a homestay, charging RM70 for one person and RM100 for 2 persons. Do note that there is no aircon, but you will have the privilege of having a local to talk to and obtain information.

A quiet place to chill in Kampar. Although not much parking (because the road very narrow) but it’s really a worth cafe to visit. We had kombocha and ice latte. Cakes, very surprising. I forget the full name of the cakes but I’m glad that we ordered them. It was pineapple cinnamon cake and passion fruit yogurt cake. It was like hot and cold combination. We can’t tell which one is our favorite because we love them both. The spoon very cute. Love it.

Food: Delicious cakes and beverages at reasonable prices. Service: Only upside is the service was quite fast and the waiter was relatively friendly. Environment: Cozy environment. Nice place to hang out with friends in Kampar. Suitable for friends and family gatherings. DuaDua Cafe is a humble home-based cafe tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Kampar. While it may not be as glamorous as other cafes in town, I absolutely love how homey and welcoming this garden cafe is! Housed in a single-story 80-year-old building, DuaDua Cafe is located along a row of old terrace houses in Kampar with a history dating back to the 1920s. The dreamy new cafe opened its doors in September 2020 and quickly became an aesthetic hotspot for a relaxing afternoon over coffee and cakes. Cozy, minimalist, and drenched in ample natural lighting, serene charm seeps from every corner and nook of this fresh space. For those who have a soft spot for heritage exteriors and minimalist cafes. Step into this restored heritage building and be greeted by a cozy space filled with custom-designed rattan furniture, brick walls, bare beams, vintage old cassette tapes, and tons of zen, photogenic corners. The cafe even sports an outdoor seating area too! The cafe menu consists of local and homemade cakes. Besides baked goods, they also offer Kids-friendly beverages and a wide variety of beverages, including housemade coffee mocktails. Popular items on the menu include their signature SISIL coffee. Very enjoy my dessert time here, cuz they provided my fav lime yogurt cake since so many cafes in other places also do not provide it, recommend everyone to come and have a taste

It's a nice place to chill during the rainy season. The only downside is that mosquitoes are active from 5pm onwards.

Found this place by chance. Very unique ambiance, quaint and retro. Coffee was good. We ordered black and a flat white. Nangka cake was so-so. However be prepared to sit in less than comfortable old sofa chairs or tatami styled. In my case, my leg slept many times
